Neha Raykar, PhD, MA (India)
Neha Raykar, PhD, MA is lead economist at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). She holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, Riverside and has worked as a visiting assistant professor of Economics at Colgate University, New York. Her primary interests are in the areas of public health, education, poverty, and economics of household behavior in developing countries. She has been involved in evaluating cost-effectiveness of mental health interventions for the Disease Control Priorities Project at PHFI. She is currently a researcher on the Transform Nutrition Research Program Consortium. She led the editorial team of the India Health Report: Nutrition 2015 released in December 2015 and is engaged in independent studies on maternal and child health outcomes.
